Virginia High School Basketball - Trinity Christian topped by Meridian
December 5, 2023: Falls Church, VA 22043 The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons to 40 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Meridian will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
The Gryphons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles come into the contest with a 4-0 record.
