Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro overwhelms Chaparral

December 5, 2024: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Chaparral Firebirds to 44 in the Sabercats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sabercats now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Crismon for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Saguaro will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 55-26 non-league loss to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ) to confront the Wolves in a 5A East Sky game on Tuesday, December 10. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 2-6. Desert Mountain lost 64-50 in their recent non-league game against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)
