December 5, 2024: El Paso, TX 79904 Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX), 59-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ellison advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 5-6. South Grand Prairie won 90-30 in their recent non-league match against Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX)
The Huskies now own a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Elm for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Chapin will face a Lobos squad coming off a 74-62 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 10-2.
