North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County trounced by West Bladen

December 5, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 68-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Bladen advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-0. Croatan won 76-65 in their recent non-league match against Camden County (Camden, NC)

The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Currituck County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
