Texas High School Basketball - Mansfield can't hold off Guyer
December 5, 2024: Mansfield, TX 76063 Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX), 54-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Guyer advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 5-1. Mansfield Summit won 50-47 in their recent non-league match against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Birdville for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Mansfield will face a Hawks squad coming off a 91-76 non-league win over Heritage (Littleton, CO). The Hawks record now stands at 11-1.
