California High School Basketball - La Jolla overwhelms Valley Center

December 5, 2024: Valley Center, CA 92082

The La Jolla Vikings basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Valley Center Jaguars to 46 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. La Jolla will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 77-37 non-league win over San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Valley Center falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA) to confront the Firebirds in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Firebirds go into the game with a record of 3-1. Del Lago Academy lost 67-50 in their recent non-league game against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)
