The Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball toppled the visiting Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX), 57-49 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waller for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. Nimitz will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 95-60 non-league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.
