In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Sanford Warriors basketball team scored a big 59-37 win over the Mount Pleasant Green Knights.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Cahillite come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
