Iowa High School Basketball - Osage overwhelms New Hampton
December 5, 2024: Osage, IA 50461 The Osage Green Devils basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws to 39 in the Green Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Green Devils now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central Springs for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Osage will confront a Panthers team coming off a 41-26 non-league loss to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, New Hampton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Chickasaws host Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 0-1. Turkey Valley lost 81-46 in their recent league game against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
