Missouri High School Basketball - Marion County overwhelms Bevier
December 5, 2024: Philadelphia, MO 63463 The Marion County Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Bevier Wildcats to 21 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Shelby for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Marion County will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Salisbury (Salisbury, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Bevier falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Grundy County (Galt, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-0. Grundy County won 34-31 in their recent non-league game against Novinger (Novinger, MO)
