With the victory, Cherokee Washington advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Braves host Ridge View (Holstein, IA) to face the Raptors in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Raptors enter the match with a record of 0-2. Ridge View lost 51-45 in their recent league match against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA)
The Jays now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Akron-Westfield for a War Eagle match on Friday, December 6. Gehlen Catholic will face a Westerners squad coming off a 52-19 non-league loss to Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Westerners record now stands at 0-1.
