In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Minnetonka Skippers ice hockey team scored a close 3-1 victory over the Chanhassen Storm.

The Skippers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Moorhead edged Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN), 4-3, in a non-league contest.
