Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Mayo holds off Tartan
December 5, 2024: Oakdale, MN 55128 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Mayo Spartans ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Tartan Titans.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Falcons go into the Big 9 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Faribault was nipped by Johnson (St. Paul, MN), 6-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Titans play the Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN) in a Classic Suburban contest, on Saturday, December 7. Tartan will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
