In Friday's non-league battle, the St. John XXIII Lions (Katy, TX) basketball squad routed the host Cypress Christian Warriors (Houston, TX), by a count of 78-47.

With the victory, St. John XXIII advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Kinkaid (Houston, TX) to meet the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 10-2. Kinkaid won 67-31 in their recent non-league battle against CHSA HomeSchool (Houston, TX)

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles (Sugar Land, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6.
