Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 71-57 in a non-league contest.

The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Argyle notched a victory over Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 60-40, in a non-league match.

The Knights now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithson Valley for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. Hanks will face a Rangers squad coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 2-8.
