Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE), 54-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Palmyra upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-0. Johnson-Brock won 59-33 in their recent non-league contest against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE)

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9.
