North Carolina High School Basketball - Central routed by Monroe

Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Central Eagles (Pageland, SC), 72-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Redhawks travel to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-5.

The Eagles now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Union Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 10.
