In Friday's league test, the River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ) basketball squad got by the visiting Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), by a score of 38-34.

Coming up next, the Dust Devils play the Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) in a 3A West bout, on Tuesday, December 9. River Valley will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Honey Badgers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 64-21 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
