Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 35-18 in a league contest.

The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix go into the C South contest with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Hawks confront the Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 11. Sacopee Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
