South Carolina High School Basketball - River Bluff knocks off Lugoff-Elgin
December 5, 2025: Lugoff, SC 29078 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting River Bluff Gators basketball squad scored a nice 36-16 victory over the Lugoff-Elgin Demons.
With the victory, River Bluff advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Gators host Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-2. Indian Land lost 30-26 in their recent non-league match against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)
The Demons now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Richland for a non-league match on Monday, December 8. Lugoff-Elgin will face a Diamond Hornets squad coming off a 35-8 non-league loss to White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Diamond Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
