Illinois High School Basketball - Arcola overwhelmed by Tolono Unity
December 6, 2021: Arcola, IL 61910 The Tolono Unity Rockets basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Arcola Purple Riders to 41 in the Rockets non-league victory on Monday.
The Rockets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Tolono Unity will battle a Maroons team coming off a 77-62 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-5.
The Purple Riders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg triumphed over Sullivan (Sullivan, IL), 57-33, in a non-league contest.
