New Mexico High School Basketball - Bloomfield thwarts Pojoaque Valley
December 6, 2021: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) basketball knocked off the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 60-47 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Sandia Prep notched a victory over Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 59-54, in a non-league test.
The Elks/Elkettes now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael's for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Pojoaque Valley will encounter a Horsemen squad coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 0-4.
