Kentucky High School Basketball - Community Christian tops Pope County
December 6, 2021: Paducah, KY 42003 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Community Christian Warriors (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Pope County Pirates (Golconda, IL), saw Community Christian's basketball squad knock off Pope County by a count of 64-48.
With the victory, Community Christian upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 11. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Pirates play the Galatia Bearcats (Galatia, IL) in a Greater Egyptian challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Pope County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
