Louisiana High School Basketball - Prairie View Academy nudges Riverfield Academy
December 6, 2021: Rayville, LA 71269 Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Riverfield Academy Raiders (Rayville, LA), 61-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Prairie View Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans host Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Northeast Baptist lost 52-14 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 10. Riverfield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
