Alabama High School Basketball - Berry can't hold off Brilliant
December 6, 2021: Brilliant, AL 35548 The Brilliant Tigers basketball team scored 17 points and held the visiting Berry Wildcats to 13 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. Brilliant will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 30-26 non-league loss to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hackleburg nudged Hubbertville (Fayette, AL), 19-17, in a non-league contest.
