Ohio High School Basketball - Lehman Catholic can't hold off Ansonia
December 6, 2022: Sidney, OH 45365 The Ansonia Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Lehman Catholic Cavaliers to 39 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradford for a Western Ohio contest on Friday, December 9. Ansonia will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 72-39 non-league win over Fairlawn (Sidney, OH). The Railroaders record now stands at 3-0.
The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Miami East (Casstown, OH). The Vikings enter the Three Rivers contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Miami East nudged Northridge (Dayton, OH), 48-36, in a league contest.
