Kansas High School Basketball - Axtell crushes Flint Hills Christian
December 6, 2022: Axtell, KS 66403 Axtell Eagles (Axtell, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Flint Hills Christian Warriors (Manhattan, KS), 74-8 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Axtell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wetmore (Wetmore, KS) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Warriors play the St. Xavier Rams (Junction City, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Flint Hills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 87-11 non-league loss to Hanover (Hanover, KS).
