The Covington Trojans basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Western Boone Stars to 54 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Attica for a Wabash River contest on Friday, December 9. Covington will meet a Red Ramblers team coming off a 67-17 non-league loss to Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN). The Red Ramblers record now stands at 0-1.

The Stars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Tigers enter the Sagamore contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Lebanon nudged Northview (Brazil, IN), 78-47, in a non-league contest.
