New York High School Basketball - Hornell fells York
December 6, 2022: Hornell, NY 14843 Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting York Golden Knights (Retsof, NY), 69-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hornell upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Red Raiders host Le Roy (Le Roy, NY) to play the Oatkan Knights in a Section 5 Livingston County I bout on Friday, December 9. The Oatkan Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Le Roy won 57-27 in their recent non-league bout against Alden (Alden, NY)
Next up, the Golden Knights play the Letchworth Indians (Gainesville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. York will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Alexander (Alexander, NY).
