Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), 79-77 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madison upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Blue Streaks travel to South (Willoughby, OH) to play the Rebels in a Western Reserve bout on Thursday, December 15. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Falcons play the Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH) in a Northeast 8 bout, on Friday, December 9. Jefferson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 75-41 non-league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, OH).
