Minnesota High School Basketball - Willmar nips Marshall
December 6, 2022: Willmar, MN 56201 Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 72-67 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Willmar upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Brainerd (Brainerd, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Brainerd won 65-61 in their recent league bout against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN)
Next up, the Tigers play the Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Agates come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 88-50 non-league win over McGregor (McGregor, MN).
