Iowa High School Basketball - Webster City tops South Central Calhoun
December 6, 2022: Webster City, IA 50595 Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 52-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Webster City upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lynx host Algona (Algona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Algona lost 78-75 in their recent non-league bout against Charles City (Charles City, IA)
Next up, the Titans play the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Friday, December 9. South Central Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 86-13 league win over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA).
