Texas High School Basketball - Sherman fells Celina
December 6, 2022: Sherman, TX 75090 Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX), 60-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Princeton (Princeton, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Celina will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 52-35 non-league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX).
