December 6, 2022: DeForest, WI 53532 DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Portage Warriors (Portage, WI), 82-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DeForest upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Norskies host Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI) to play the Golden Beavers in a Badger - East bout on Friday, December 9. The Golden Beavers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Beaver Dam won 54-34 in their recent non-league bout against Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI)
Next up, the Warriors play the Nekoosa Papermakers (Nekoosa, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Portage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Papermakers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 78-8 non-league loss to Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI).
