Texas High School Basketball - Devine nips Hondo
December 6, 2022: Hondo, TX 78861 Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), 52-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Devine upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Warhorses host Harper (Harper, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Harper lost 36-35 in their recent non-league bout against Ozona (Ozona, TX)
Next up, the Owls play the Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Hondo will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Natalia (Natalia, TX).
