Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), 72-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Eagan upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Edina (Edina, MN) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Edina lost 53-36 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN)
