December 6, 2022: Hallettsville, TX 77964 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) and the host Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX), saw Skidmore-Tynan's basketball squad hold off Hallettsville by a tally of 35-30.
With the victory, Skidmore-Tynan improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Sinton (Sinton, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Sinton lost 30-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Odem (Odem, TX)
Next up, the Brahmas confront the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Hallettsville will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX).
