Illinois High School Basketball - Northtown knocked off by Holy Trinity
December 6, 2022: Chicago, IL 60622 The Holy Trinity Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Northtown Pumas to 31 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Universal for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Holy Trinity will meet a Stars team coming off a 50-42 league win over Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL). The Stars record now stands at 2-2.
The Pumas (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros enter the Chicago Prep contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Cristo Rey Jesuit was outscored by Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 44-41, in a league contest.
