Texas High School Basketball - Martin nips Lake Highlands
December 6, 2022: Dallas, TX 75238 Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 46-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Martin upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Crowley (Crowley, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Crowley won 72-51 in their recent non-league bout against Granbury (Granbury, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, December 9. Lake Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 45-28 non-league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX).
