Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich nudges Stevenson
December 6, 2022: Lincolnshire, IL 60069 Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 37-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Lake Zurich upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to clash with the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban challenge on Friday, December 9. The Zee-Bees come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Zion-Benton lost 35-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Friday, December 9. Stevenson will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 59-33 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
