December 6, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28270 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 61-31.
The Mavericks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Indian Land smashed South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC), 50-40, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Charlotte Catholic for a 4A Conference 59 outing on Friday, December 9. Providence will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 65-24 non-league win over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
