Indiana High School Basketball - South Central holds off Morgan Township

December 6, 2022: Union Mills, IN 46382

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) and the visiting Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), saw South Central's basketball squad nip Morgan Township by a margin of 34-33.

The Satellites (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators go into the Porter County test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Washington Township got by 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN), 69-5, in a non-league test.

The Cherokees now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Kouts for a Porter County test on Saturday, December 10. Morgan Township will encounter a Mustangs & Fillies squad coming off a 56-25 non-league win over DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies record now stands at 7-4.
