The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Patton Panthers to 13 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexander Central for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Newton-Conover will meet a Cougars team coming off a 60-41 non-league win over North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
