South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun Academy tops Northwood Academy
December 6, 2022: Charleston, SC 29486 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) and the host Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), saw Calhoun Academy's basketball squad knock off Northwood Academy by a count of 46-35.
With the victory, Calhoun Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC) to play the War Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The War Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Colleton Prep Academy lost 51-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Charleston Collegiate (John's Island, SC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. Northwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 41-35 non-league win over Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC).
