December 6, 2022: Bladenboro, NC 28320 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the host West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), saw North Brunswick's basketball squad hold off West Bladen by a tally of 44-40.
With the victory, North Brunswick improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Scorpions host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. West Columbus lost 28-13 in their recent non-league challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
Next up, the Knights confront the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. West Bladen will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
