North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Lee trounces Northern Durham
December 6, 2022: Durham, NC 27712 The Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) basketball crushed the host Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), 40-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Jordan-Matthews walloped Lee County (Sanford, NC), 38-34, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7. Northern Durham will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 63-14 non-league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
