December 6, 2022: Stuart, VA 24171 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) and the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA), saw Patrick County's basketball squad overcome Staunton River by a tally of 52-34.
With the victory, Patrick County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Staunton River will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
