Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County nudges Abingdon
December 6, 2023: Dublin, VA 24084 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), by a margin of 61-59.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Carroll County got by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 81-40, in a non-league outing.
The Falcons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Virginia High for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Abingdon will clash with a Bearcats squad coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-1.
