Arkansas High School Basketball - Prairie Grove can't hold off Booneville
December 6, 2023: Booneville, AR 72927 The Booneville Bearcats basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Prairie Grove Tigers to 41 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ozark for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Booneville will battle a Hillbillies team coming off a 57-51 league win over Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Hillbillies record now stands at 6-7.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Golden Arrows enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Lavaca nudged Charleston (Charleston, AR), 58-42, in a non-league contest.
