The Yeshiva (Silver Spring, MD) varsity basketball team won Wednesday's home non-conference game against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD) by a score of 67-53.
The Yeshiva basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Calverton to 53 in the non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chelsea for a contest on Tuesday, December 12.
The (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD). The Mustangs enter the Maryland Independent League contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Southern Maryland Christian Academy was defeated by McKinley Tech (Washington, DC), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
